  • What does CEG do?

As an organization committed to ensuring all Georgia children have access to a quality education, CEG's activities are broad.  Some include:
    • Working with stakeholders in public, private, and home-based schools to understand and address the greatest needs in educating Georgia’s children.
    • Conducting original research that separates fact from fiction when it comes to education spending, student achievement, and the need for reform and greater educational choice.

    • Promoting the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship and Tuition Tax Credit Scholarship programs via its website, paid advertising, parent forums and public speeches.

    • Creating the state’s first interactive education website (www.educatedgeorgia.org) designed to promote the concepts of education reform and choice while connecting parents with the many public and private educational options already available for their children.

    • Building a grassroots coalition of parents, students, teachers and community advocates who are committed to meaningfully reforming education for Georgia's children.
