What are School Choice and Education Reform?
School choice allows education decisions to be made by parents, not government. It empowers families, regardless of income or zip code. It gives families the greatest amount of freedom to determine how their children should be raised and educated.
School choice alone is not the answer to Georgia’s education woes, though. History shows us that even in the most robust school choice settings, the majority of students will remain in their public school. And while “all boats rise” and student achievement increases for all students in areas with strong school choice, our public schools must also be aggressively reformed.
